Steps for adding fractions

10/20 = 10 × 3/20 × 3 = 30/60 - Likewise, for the 2nd fraction, since 6 × 10 = 60,
2/6 = 2 × 10/6 × 10 = 20/60 - Add the two like fractions:
30/60 + 20/60 = 30 + 20/60 = 50/60 - 50/60 simplified gives 5/6
- So, 10/20 + 2/6 = 5/6
