2/10 = 2 × 3/10 × 3 = 6/30 - Likewise, for the 2nd fraction, since 6 × 5 = 30,
4/6 = 4 × 5/6 × 5 = 20/30 - Add the two like fractions:
6/30 + 20/30 = 6 + 20/30 = 26/30 - 26/30 simplified gives 13/15
- So, 2/10 + 4/6 = 13/15
