Steps for adding fractions

23 = 2 × 43 × 4 = 812 - Likewise, for the 2nd fraction, since 12 × 1 = 12,
1012 = 10 × 112 × 1 = 1012 - Add the two like fractions:
812 + 1012 = 8 + 1012 = 1812 - 18/12 simplified gives 32
- So, 2/3 + 10/12 = 3/2
