Steps for adding fractions

2/3 = 2 × 10/3 × 10 = 20/30 - Likewise, for the 2nd fraction, since 10 × 3 = 30,
4/10 = 4 × 3/10 × 3 = 12/30 - Add the two like fractions:
20/30 + 12/30 = 20 + 12/30 = 32/30 - 32/30 simplified gives 16/15
- So, 2/3 + 4/10 = 16/15
