3/6 = 3 × 5/6 × 5 = 15/30 - Likewise, for the 2nd fraction, since 15 × 2 = 30,
10/15 = 10 × 2/15 × 2 = 20/30 - Add the two like fractions:
15/30 + 20/30 = 15 + 20/30 = 35/30 - 35/30 simplified gives 7/6
- So, 3/6 + 10/15 = 7/6
