3/30 = 3 × 1/30 × 1 = 3/30 - Likewise, for the 2nd fraction, since 3 × 10 = 30,
1/3 = 1 × 10/3 × 10 = 10/30 - Since the denominators are now the same, the fraction with the bigger numerator is the greater fraction
