Steps for comparing fractions

  1. Find the least common denominator or LCM of the two denominators:
    LCM of 2 and 28 is 28

    Next, find the equivalent fraction of both fractional numbers with denominator 28

    4/2 = 4 × 14/2 × 14 = 56/28
  3. Likewise, for the 2nd fraction, since 28 × 1 = 28,
