10/15 = 10 × 2/15 × 2 = 20/30 - Likewise, for the 2nd fraction, since 6 × 5 = 30,
5/6 = 5 × 5/6 × 5 = 25/30 - Add the two like fractions:
20/30 + 25/30 = 20 + 25/30 = 45/30 - 45/30 simplified gives 3/2
- So, 10/15 + 5/6 = 3/2
