10/18 = 10 × 5/18 × 5 = 50/90 - Likewise, for the 2nd fraction, since 15 × 6 = 90,
10/15 = 10 × 6/15 × 6 = 60/90 - Add the two like fractions:
50/90 + 60/90 = 50 + 60/90 = 110/90 - 110/90 simplified gives 11/9
- So, 10/18 + 10/15 = 11/9
