10/90 = 10 × 2/90 × 2 = 20/180 - Likewise, for the 2nd fraction, since 20 × 9 = 180,
10/20 = 10 × 9/20 × 9 = 90/180 - Add the two like fractions:
20/180 + 90/180 = 20 + 90/180 = 110/180 - 110/180 simplified gives 11/18
- So, 10/90 + 10/20 = 11/18
