Add 12/20 and 18/24

12/20 + 18/24 is 27/20.

Steps for adding fractions

  1. Find the least common denominator or LCM of the two denominators:
    LCM of 20 and 24 is 120
  2. For the 1st fraction, since 20 × 6 = 120,
    12/20 = 12 × 6/20 × 6 = 72/120

  4. Add the two fractions:
