15/20 + 10/30 is 13/12.

Steps for adding fractions

  1. Find the least common denominator or LCM of the two denominators:
    LCM of 20 and 30 is 60
  2. For the 1st fraction, since 20 × 3 = 60,
    15/20 = 15 × 3/20 × 3 = 45/60
  3. Likewise, for the 2nd fraction, since 30 × 2 = 60,
    10/30 = 10 × 2/30 × 2 = 20/60
  4. Add the two fractions:
    45/60 + 20/60 = 45 + 20/60 = 65/60
  5. After reducing the fraction, the answer is 13/12
  6. In mixed form: 11/12
