Steps for adding fractions

  3. Likewise, for the 2nd fraction, since 3 × 2 = 6,

  4. Add the two like fractions:
    9/6 + 20/6 = 9 + 20/6 = 29/6
  5. So, 3/2 + 10/3 = 29/6
    In mixed form: 45/6
