Steps for adding fractions

Next, find the equivalent fraction of both fractional numbers with denominator 90 - For the 1st fraction, since 10 × 9 = 90,
6/10 = 6 × 9/10 × 9 = 54/90 - Likewise, for the 2nd fraction, since 18 × 5 = 90,
6/18 = 6 × 5/18 × 5 = 30/90 - Add the two like fractions:
54/90 + 30/90 = 54 + 30/90 = 84/90 - 84/90 simplified gives 14/15
- So, 6/10 + 6/18 = 14/15
