Steps for adding fractions

Next, find the equivalent fraction of both fractional numbers with denominator 30 - For the 1st fraction, since 10 × 3 = 30,
6/10 = 6 × 3/10 × 3 = 18/30 - Likewise, for the 2nd fraction, since 15 × 2 = 30,
7/15 = 7 × 2/15 × 2 = 14/30 - Add the two like fractions:
18/30 + 14/30 = 18 + 14/30 = 32/30 - 32/30 simplified gives 16/15
- So, 6/10 + 7/15 = 16/15
