Steps for adding fractions

6/8 = 6 × 25/8 × 25 = 150/200 - Likewise, for the 2nd fraction, since 50 × 4 = 200,
10/50 = 10 × 4/50 × 4 = 40/200 - Add the two like fractions:
150/200 + 40/200 = 150 + 40/200 = 190/200 - 190/200 simplified gives 19/20
- So, 6/8 + 10/50 = 19/20
