Steps for adding fractions

Next, find the equivalent fraction of both fractional numbers with denominator 90 - For the 1st fraction, since 9 × 10 = 90,
6/9 = 6 × 10/9 × 10 = 60/90 - Likewise, for the 2nd fraction, since 10 × 9 = 90,
5/10 = 5 × 9/10 × 9 = 45/90 - Add the two like fractions:
60/90 + 45/90 = 60 + 45/90 = 105/90 - 105/90 simplified gives 7/6
- So, 6/9 + 5/10 = 7/6
