- Find the least common denominator or LCM of the two denominators:

Next, find the equivalent fraction of both fractional numbers with denominator 525 - For the 1st fraction, since 25 × 21 = 525,
125 = 1 × 2125 × 21 = 21525 - Likewise, for the 2nd fraction, since 21 × 25 = 525,
1021 = 10 × 2521 × 25 = 250525 - Since the denominators are now the same, the fraction with the bigger numerator is the greater fraction
