Next, find the equivalent fraction of both fractional numbers with denominator 30
For the 1st fraction, since 3 × 10 = 30,
10/3 = 10 × 10/3 × 10 = 100/30
Likewise, for the 2nd fraction, since 10 × 3 = 30,
4/10 = 4 × 3/10 × 3 = 12/30
Since the denominators are now the same, the fraction with the bigger numerator is the greater fraction
100/30 > 12/30 or 10/3 > 4/10
