  1. Find the least common denominator or LCM of the two denominators:

    10/6 = 10 × 15/6 × 15 = 150/90
  3. Likewise, for the 2nd fraction, since 45 × 2 = 90,
    70/45 = 70 × 2/45 × 2 = 140/90
