    14/9 = 14 × 5/9 × 5 = 70/45
  3. Likewise, for the 2nd fraction, since 5 × 9 = 45,
    4/5 = 4 × 9/5 × 9 = 36/45
  4. Since the denominators are now the same, the fraction with the bigger numerator is the greater fraction
  5. 70/45 > 36/45 or 14/9 > 4/5
