    30/27 = 30 × 7/27 × 7 = 210/189
  3. Likewise, for the 2nd fraction, since 7 × 27 = 189,
    4/7 = 4 × 27/7 × 27 = 108/189
  4. Since the denominators are now the same, the fraction with the bigger numerator is the greater fraction
  5. 210/189 > 108/189 or 30/27 > 4/7
