    30/35 = 30 × 36/35 × 36 = 1080/1260
  3. Likewise, for the 2nd fraction, since 36 × 35 = 1260,
    63/36 = 63 × 35/36 × 35 = 2205/1260
  4. Since the denominators are now the same, the fraction with the bigger numerator is the greater fraction
  5. 1080/1260 < 2205/1260 or 30/35 < 63/36
