  3. Likewise, for the 2nd fraction, since 15 × 16 = 240,
    60/15 = 60 × 16/15 × 16 = 960/240
  4. Since the denominators are now the same, the fraction with the bigger numerator is the greater fraction
  5. 540/240 < 960/240 or 36/16 < 60/15
