62 = 6 × 32 × 3 = 186 - Likewise, for the 2nd fraction, since 6 × 1 = 6,
26 = 2 × 16 × 1 = 26 - Since the denominators are now the same, the fraction with the bigger numerator is the greater fraction
- 186 > 26 or 62 > 26
