   Next, find the equivalent fraction of both fractional numbers with denominator 168
2. For the 1st fraction, since 24 × 7 = 168,
   8/24 = 8 × 7/24 × 7 = 56/168
3. Likewise, for the 2nd fraction, since 21 × 8 = 168,
   6/21 = 6 × 8/21 × 8 = 48/168
4. Since the denominators are now the same, the fraction with the bigger numerator is the greater fraction
5. 56/168 > 48/168 or 8/24 > 6/21
